Success for Sustainable Hayfield's Transport Group!
Sustainable Hayfield's Transport Group, driven by Roland Strube, have just won £43k in grant funding to set up a Hayfield Transport Co-operative (HTC). The HTC will fund a community shared minibus and the development of a website and phone app to enable villagers to share same destination \ origin journeys, so reducing costs and the number of car-borne journeys. Congratulations to Roland for putting in almost all the hard work which has made this possible.
This great news has just been announced. We'll be setting out the detail of what we propose to do next very shortly, so look out for more information soon! Click here to see our press release announcing this exciting development.
