There's opportunity to
get rid of your unwanted electrical items - working or not working - this
Saturday (27th September 2014), organised by Derbyshire County Council. They're setting up a special
collection and testing facility at Tesco's, Whaley Bridge from 10.00a.m. - 4.00p.m.,
ensuring best use is made of each. Electrical and electronic waste is a growing
proportion of waste disposed of, and too much ends up in the wrong place
(landfill, toxic dumps in poorer countries). So...........it might be that you
can make good use of this one-off facility, and help ensure a fitting
destination for your unwanted goods.
How can our community best respond to the challenges of Climate Change to create a more sustainable future for our children?
